Biography - Mr Joseph Murphy M.D.H D.WCF.

Joe has spent a lifetime working with horse. He started riding aged two and progressed from riding ponies to showjumping very quickly. At the age of just twelve he started hunting with the North East Cheshire Drag Hunt to become Hunt Master twenty six years later.

Joe has also hunted with various packs including the Ready Field Bloodhounds, The Cheshires, The Cheshire Forest, Holcombe Harriers, Blankney, Vale of Lune, Cheshire Farmers as well as a variety of hunts in Ireland and Scotland.

Amongst his many accolades, he won the Inter Hunt Relay at the Cheshire Show and the National Inter Hunt Relay at the Royal Show. He has also represented Great Britain in Dublin.

Joe is a registered farrier. His knowledge of horses, especially hunting horses is second to none. Joe had also produced showjumpers, eventers, working hunters and driving horses.

His time is now spent producing high quality horses and ponies at White Gate Stables.
