Its very rare that a part exchange horse will meet the requirement of Whitegate Stables. The things we look for in a part exchange horse include:

- Full Irish passport
- Five stage vetting at your expense
- Good temperament
- Good to box, shoe, clip
- Good in traffic and is completely vice free

If your horse meets the above criteria then we will allow you top price for your part exchange.

However, if you horse does not comply with the above we have a number of local dealers that will offer a price for the horse. It would generally be a bad price and you would be advised to try and sell locally.
